Snail's Pace

I thought that I had so much time this week to catch up and do everything that I have been planning to do, but of course that has not happened. I was supposed to do a lot of late blogging and posting things that I have been planning to for weeks now! I was also supposed to organize and file this pile of papers that my cats keep climbing like a mountain and then I have to keep re-stacking. Yikes. I have been doing a lot of laundry as of late, the kids got a lot of new clothes and I've had to wash everything, and we had company staying with us over the holidays so there were just a few loads of towels and things that I have had to wash as well.

I guess I should not be too hard on myself. We all deserve some time to relax and spend time with the ones that we love, and maybe I had high expectations on what I could get done this week, but I guess I always do that!

Last night was a fun night, the kids were with their dad and I got a chance to have dinner with Justin and Elise at Mt. Fuji. It's nice to have dinner with adults and not worry about the kids stabbing each other with forks and dropping chop sticks on the floor, but hey, that's what moms do!

Oh well. I'm complaining about all I have to do and here I am with a cup of coffee blogging and catching up on my favorite YouTube channels. At least I crossed one major thing off my list! I really wanted to do a refresh of the blog for the new year. I re-did a lot of the icons on the top to reflect things I think you guys would enjoy and use more, and I also changed the background and the title. Hope you guys like the new look! :)
