Tennis, The Belmont Stakes, and Penelope.

As Andrew and I were on the tennis court yesterday trying out some new rackets, I thought, "This is how it would feel like playing tennis in hell!" I HATE humidity and HEAT, so although I enjoyed hitting with Andrew, my body gave up fairly quickly and chose to find some air conditioning instead. Postive was that I got some color on my face, a bit of a workout, and got so watch Andrew play with his shirt off! WOO HOO!!! (Darn you positive blogger girls, for always making me find the up side.)

The Belmont Stakes was on yesterday, and Andrew and I enjoy watching the race and choosing our trifecta and seeing the pretty horses.

After the race, we went out to exchange a fish that tried to eat a giant Danio from my tank. Last week, I saw the little fish in it's mouth and chased it with the net until he let the danio free. The danio is now without a tail, but still living. I then put the bad fish in my 30 gallon tank, knowing the fish were too large for him to eat, but I looked in and saw that one of the comets had half a tail. No good. So, at hidden reef, you can bring in fish and they will give you a little money for them.

Andrew and I had been looking at tortises/turtles for a while now to add to our mini-zoo. (LOL, Jackie is going to love this!) So we picked out a Western painted turtle and named her Penelope. She is adorable! So in that 30 Gallon, we have a turtle, a crab, a newt and 2 comets! One of my next posts will be a fish post with pics! Woo Hoo!
