This is how you celebrate a birthday.

Birthdays are fun. And the way Andrew and I do it, we enjoy the whole 24 hours! We started his birthday at midnight with mini cupcakes and candles and presents, then in the morning, Zoe and Jax gave him a gift and hugs and kisses, in the afternoon, a nice lunch at Villa Rosa/Barone, (where they made a fresh Sicilian pizza YUM!)Then in the afternoon, another horse riding lesson!

Andrew decided to take of his shoe, so Andrew rode Copper and I rode Sonata again. We were on the horses longer today, working on steering and balance. After the lesson, Colleen had joked that she would put us to work, but we had dinner reservations at 7:30- We decided to help Colleen and called to push back our reservation. We helped her 'turn out' the horses- basically, letting the horses out to graze and hang out for the night. We had to let out the girls first, then the boys. We had to hand lead 2 horses because they like to escape. I led a feisty, huge horse named Thunder, and Andrew let this small pony named Reggie. (Does anyone else find this amusing?) We then met Oliver, one of the cats that live in the stable.

We then rushed home, showered and got ready for dinner. We arrived at the Temperance house pretty close to our reservation time. What did we have? Andrew had the Center Cut Filet Mignon with veggies and mashed potatoes, and me? Twin Maryland Crab Cakes (Broiled Colossal lump crab cakes finished w/ Newburg sauce)with an adorable cornbread cake underneath, baked potato and veggies. Delicious!

And it's not over yet- we plan to take the celebration to LBI to celebrate Ange and Jason's wedding! 4 days of super fun. LBI, then DC, then Baltimore. I can't wait for Friday!
