Mini-Vaca, Day Three: DC and Baltimore

The last home game at RFK was Sunday at 12, so we planned to head out to DC at 8:30, but ended up leaving at 9:30. Oooops. We got there late, but still got into an almost sold out game, with a good view of the field.



The Nats beat the Phils, (YES!) and the post-game ceremony was nice. The players gave the fans the jerseys off their back!





We then drove into DC to see some landmarks, and then left for the Inner Harbor. Randomly, on our way, we spotted a runaway chicken, and its owners running after it.

After stretching our legs out a bit, we ate at Phillips, outside looking at the water. The weather was great for the duration of our trip.



After dinner, we headed out to search for a hotel room. We stayed in a Hampton Inn and had an awesome room with a King sized bed. Much better than the double that we were sleeping in the 2 nights before! We slept in Monday and checked out at 11. We decided to stay in the Inner Harbor and check out the aquarium.





We had lunch outside again before we left. (From Phillip's Express!) It was an awesome end to our trip.
