Friday:
No meat on Fridays during Lent can also be delicious- it didn't feel like too much of a sacrifice tonight! :/ Jax was sleeping over at his dad's house to prepare for his Black Belt pre-test, so we had the chance to take Zoe out to dinner. We had fried calamari, eggplant rollatini and pizza. Simply delish!

Saturday:
Zoe and I were up early to get to the Newtown Egg Hunt. Zoe was performing and needed to be there at 8:15. We were up late working on another one of her scholarship essays and both were pretty tired. Andrew came with me to pick her up and we stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things.
The rest of the day, the kids were at the karate studio and I was cleaning at home and trying to tackle the task of switching all my clothes for spring. I found out that many of my hung sweaters have sweater bumps on the shoulders (this was before the wonderful trick I learned on how to hang sweaters!) and I have to wash them in stages. They of course have to dry flat, and I can only dry 4 at a time! Maybe by summer they will all be clean. ;) I usually do laundry in the middle of the week, and due to a migraine, I lost 2 days last week. I had SO much laundry. I think Andrew decided to finally empty his suitcase from Cancun too, so that added to the numbers.

Sunday:
Andrew for once was up early to go to his annual fantasy baseball draft. I was up early as well and continuing the spring cleaning. I made some pancakes to fuel the kids for cleaning their room. I think they made us all want to go back to sleep.
I was able to clean the kitchen, take care of all the flowers that Zoe received from the play, mop the floors, vacuum, dust, continue hacking at the laundry pile, and wash the sheets to the beds.
| The Cuisinart griddle is so perfect for making pancakes. Even temperature, huge surface area, perfect pancakes! |
| My version of a short stack! |
