Friday:
Super fun pool day! Right after work, (I love summer hours!) Kathleen & Daniel, Jen, Andy, Cam & Ev came over for a pool party! We got some pizza & ice cream for lunch and enjoyed the pool all afternoon. It was so much fun! The pool party ended when everyone had to leave the pool because of thunder, but we already had over 4 hours under our belt so it wasn't terrible. I was super tired after our party and actually fell asleep watching TV around 6:45sh. Yikes! Being in the sun always takes some of my energy.
Saturday:
Off to Tita Evie's. Before we got there, we had to stop to get soup, pizza and some groceries for mom and Tita Ev. We surprised them with a strawberry shortcake too! It was a nice visit and I could tell that my mom really missed the kids so it was nice that we spent time together! Tita Evie did not have as much energy as she has had before, but she is still moving around and eating really really well. She even had some cake! We were looking at some old photo albums and reminiscing about old times. Andrew also got to see many unflattering photos of me as a kid. Yay!
Sunday:
Andrew had an early match in New Brunswick so he was gone first thing in the morning. We headed to the Newtown Car Show because Zoe was performing with the Demo Team. It was a nice surprise to run into the Hogges and the Callaghans there! We got a bit to eat at Isaacs but Zoe and I had to leave early because we needed to run to gymnastics! Whew. What a hot hot hot day. I definitely was missing air conditioning the majority of the day. After finally getting home and cooling off, It was time to clean and do some laundry.
At the end of the evening, we met the Hogges at the Yardley Ice House for some dessert. Yum!
