Halloween and Hayrides

Friday could not have come soon enough and I was excited for the weekend and dreading it at the same time.

Saturday we were out the door at around noon to try to find something for Zoe to wear to the party and to get supplies for the class pumpkin. We were off to Michael's and AC Moore, where we were able to get all the feathers and paint. We headed to TJ Maxx and Home Goods too, but didn't really find anything for Zoe's costume. We ended up at Old Navy where we found a simple red sweater to wear with her devil wings!

For a late lunch, we went to Panera then was able to stop at home quickly before church. After church, it was a rush to get home and get Zoe ready for her party! I asked if she wanted me to do her makeup, so it was a fun challenge to just use what I had to make her "devil look." I wish I had some red lipgloss or something, but she was good with the eyes. Of course it took longer to take it off at the end of the night, but it was worth it! She loved it and her friends did too.

Sunday we were headed to Shady Brook Farm to Pumpkin Fest to get Zoe's pumpkin for the class pumpkin and also the kids were picking their Halloween Pumpkins. We were able to watch the pig/hot dog races, go though the barn of horror and see all the animals!

 

The rest of the day I was working on Kevin, the bird from Up. I will post the process when I am finished. I took some pics from the start so you could see the evolution of Kevin! I will be so glad when he is done. We spent a lot of time putting him together! (and money too, lol!)
