I'm so behind! I have to go backwards. This past weekend was crazy. It was the first week of school, and even though it was just 3 days, it was stressful. Covering books, paperwork, making sure that the kids uniforms fit, some odds and ends of school supplies we didn't have. Then it was packing everything, labeling everything, blah blah. Everything went well, and although the kids and their good friends are not in their homerooms this year, they are happy.
We were glad to celebrate the first half-week of school with a pizza party at the Callaghan house. It was nice for all the kids to get back together and play. They had a wonderful time as always.
Saturday was chore day. It was driving me nuts because a lot of the stuff from the shore was not put away yet. I needed to pack away the beach toys and everything else for next year. For some reason, in the afternoon I ended up taking a long nap. So random. If your body needs rest, it will get it!
Sunday more laundry, then it was off to Jackson to Andrew's parents house. Since we were there, we stopped by the Safari for one last drive through before it closes. After that, we went to Andrew's parents house to mow the lawn. Zoe and I helped with the sweeping! (Where we took the picture above!)
