The choice for a better me.

My friend Jackie says that you can't have a "new you" but instead, a "better you." Her explanation was that you are who you are and you can't really change that, but you can improve on it, which is what I have decided to do. I know it's been said and done before, but life is indeed short, and too short to spend it unhappy wishing that it was something else. Because it is true, no one can make you happy but you, and the days of blaming other people for NOT making me happy are in the past. You can't control others actions or thoughts, but you are in control of your reaction to them.

So 2007 comes with a hope for a better me- a better person, a better artist, a better daughter, a better sister, a better friend, a better girlfriend, and above all else, a better mom.
