Weekend Recap

Friday: 

I worked a half day so that I could hang with Amy. We went to KO for lunch, then Petsmart to pick up a few things, then went home to relax a bit before getting Jax. We hit Greenstraw Smoothies for green smoothies before we got Jax. After we picked him up from school, we headed to the mall to do some window shopping. Andrew is super busy with the magazine, so he didn't join us until dinner. 

For dinner, Aileen and Dan wanted us to pick up some pizza and hang out at their hotel, so we did just that. Mila had fun playing with Jax and racing with us. She is so cute!!!! We then had to leave to pick up Zoe after the play.

Saturday:

It was a rainy day, so after breakfast, we headed to Dave and Busters. Everyone had fun playing games, shopping and lunch. I was so tired already, but then we had to get ready for Zoe's performance! She played Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors and was so great. She have it her all and was definitely the best one! :) After the show, she was off to the cast party, and we went to Hamilton to drop off Tito Charlli. We stopped at Mr. China because Amy really wanted scallion pancakes, then ice cream in Newtown. I was so tired when we got home. Justin and Andrew then went to get Zoe from the cast party in that crazy hail and rain.

Sunday:

We were off to see uncle Robert and have a little birthday party for Jax. We were all so tired, but it was so wonderful to have the whole family together. Uncle Robert said that he even felt better when we were all there. Jaxson was also able to show Uncle Robert how quickly he can solve his rubik's cube! He was so impressed by his talent!

Amy, Justin and dad had to leave to go back to NC, so they couldn't stay long. Aileen, Dad and Mila took us home. We stopped at Uno's to get some food before we got home. I went back to the hotel after a little rest and throwing in some laundry so I could spend time with Mila before her bedtime.

I brought over some Rita's and Mila wanted to play with Snapchat. She loves the filters! Then it was bath time and bedtime for little Mila! It was a crazy busy weekend and I feel so blessed to have seen my family and spend quality time with them. I am so glad they got to see Zoe in her first high school play and visit with Uncle Robert. Life is really too short, and I cherish these moments so much. 

Uncle Robert said to me when we were in the kitchen together that with all the fun, family and laughter in the living room, that Tita Evie should be in there. I told him that she was...
