Well, Sunflower is part of our family now. After weeks of missing her, and visiting her at Wendy's house, we told Marnie that we wanted to adopt her. We bought a cage like she was staying in at Wendy's (which she lived in for 3 days,) and set it up in Zoe's room. I had the pleasure of installing another baby gate too. Sunflower was going to have a super slow introduction into the family so that it minimized the stress on the humans and cats!
Luckily, Sunflower is a super laid back cat! She has not hissed at any of the cats and has been a super good girl! There were no issues with the litter box, or feeding. She has done well with staying in her area and is exploring just as much as we want her to.
I have to admit that I have been under a lot of stress with my aunt passing and my uncle being so sick, that she has been a real comfort. Sometimes I just lay with her on the floor and she plops down right next to me and purrs up a storm. She just can't help but make me happy and relax, even if its for 10 minutes.
