Long Weekend Recap - 4/10-4/13

I'm so behind and playing catch up.

Friday:

Home, Breakfast, School, Cleaners, School, Grocery Store, Pet Store, Salad Works, Wendys, Clubhouse, PetSmart, Clubhouse, Home.

Friday was a crazy day. I took off work to get ready for the party on Saturday, since we were not really going to have any time to do it on Saturday. A, Dan and Mila also was going to be around, so I was super excited and trying to get everything done. Andrew was in the final stages of the big issue, so he was not able to help much at all since he was fighting a deadline.

A, Dan and Mila met us at PetSmart as we were helping with the cats. Mila was so cute shaking the cat toy at the cats! We then headed over to the clubhouse to show them the layout. Jeff came with the tables, chairs and linens, and they were so great to help set everything up! They had to get Mila to bed, so they headed out while the kids and I finished up. Tree, Jeffrey and Anna also came to drop off the food table and some of the sternos.

Saturday:

Amy and Justin came in around 5 in the morning. I was up early because I knew my parents were going to be there early too with Tita Evie, to have breakfast and to get ready.

We had breakfast, Zoe went to softball practice, and Andrew, Justin & Jax went to PetSmart to buy 2 guinea pigs because they would not hold them for us. Sigh. Exactly what you want to be doing before Confirmation and a party!

We headed to the mass, which was wonderful, and then left as fast as we could for the party. We were there around 5 after 3, and I was so glad to be there early to set everything up.

Tree and Steph got the food and balloons and we started setting up. We had enough time to get everything in place before everyone came to the party. It was a wonderful time. Good food, our family and closest friends all together in one place! I couldn't ask for more.

We didn't get to bed until really late, around midnight. Justin and Amy actually left to drive through the night so that Justin could make his soccer game on Sunday.

Sunday:

Sunday I slept in a little bit. I was so exhausted, but we were meeting Dan, A and Mila at the mall to spend some time together and shop. Then we were off to get all of Zoe's softball gear because she had a game on Thursday. After shopping, we went to have dinner with A, Dan and Mila at the hotel and then go swimming. The kids had such a great time! I was super exhausted and we got home just in time for the kids to go to bed because they had school the next day.

Monday:

I barely made it up to get the kids to school, I was so exhausted. I went over to see A, Dan and Mila before they left and spent time with them over breakfast.

I miss everyone already! I feel so blessed that Tita Evie was also there to celebrate with us.
