Jaxson and his Arrow of Light on Friday night

I was really looking forward to this weekend, even though I spend most of the week at home in bed. I really wanted to get things in the house straightened up because it was just a mess! I knew it would have to wait a little bit because Saturday morning we had to go to a demo for karate in Levittown. It was a craft bazaar and it was cool seeing what people were selling- jewelry, candles, hand-crafted wood toys, doll clothes, food, they had everything there! Zoe and the demo team were really great!

After demo we ordered Chinese food for pick-up and went to the grocery store while we were waiting. We picked up the food and headed home. I had some soup and my stomach didn't mind too much, which I was thrilled about! After lunch, I started on my cleaning, laundry and organizing. Around 8, I had to run out to the store to get some dish sponges and a couple of other things I forgot at the grocery store, so we went to the grocery store again! (At least we went to a different one! LOL!)

Sunday morning we had to take Zoe to black belt practice, so we all went to drop her off, then went to the storage unit, which was right across the street. I wanted to find a few things and organize it a bit so we dove in and got it all done. I left with Jax to pick up Zoe and all went back to finish up, when they found their skates. They have done it before and seem to enjoy it, so I told them to skate up and they could skate around the hallways. They had fun, and it kept them entertained while Andrew and I finished up. We got rid of some things, so that is a plus, and I will go through more and throw out/donate more when more time permits. It feels good to get these Spring Cleaning things out of the way!

The apartment is in pretty good shape for now. Its funny how much you have to clean in such a tiny space! I only worked on the downstairs because that's all I had time for. I did a reorganization of the coffee cup cabinet and the cabinets down below, so it took a bit of time. One of the boxes I was looking for had more Starbucks mugs and I was THRILLED to find them! I found Florida, North Carolina, Charlotte, London, Barcelona, Orange County, Philadelphia and Washington DC!

I also hung up 2 of my paintings and some other decorations that we brought back from storage. I'm really happy with how everything is looking! Its been hard looking for things, then realizing they are in storage, then going to look for them, sometimes even buying them again. Maybe one day in the future I can have everything in one place. Something to look forward too, definitely!
