Moving: Week 3

Friday night Zoe had a Halloween party that she attends every year, so we didn't get to do any moving. As soon as I got home from work, she was very excited to get ready, so she got dressed and we worked on her hair and makeup. She looked so amazing! She was telling me that her friends had trouble recognizing her!

We dropped her off at the party and ran some errands. I needed some more paint for the condo, so we we stopped at home depot. We also picked up some firewood that I really like and Jax picked out some Christmas decorations! (Gasp!) We also stopped at Target to get some paper towels and other boring things. Jax did a little Elvis impression too! We picked up some pizza on the way home and made a fire because it was a chilly night.

Saturday morning was another day of moving. Lindsay came over to help us move and we went to the condo for a few hours and she was so helpful with the kids and loading up the car and organizing everything. The end of the move was so hectic, and basically we filled up boxes with random stuff that I have to sort through later. It felt like the move would never end and we would never stop working, but we had to. We were going to Trunk or Treat in the afternoon, so we had to unload the cars, then get the kids into their costumes. Zoe was a volunteer for the kids game area, so we didn't do anything too spooky for her makeup. I was glad because it took such a long time to take it all off! LOL!

I wish it was not so windy, but it was a fun night. Jen came with the girls and it was so fun to trick or treat with them! Everyone went home with a lot of candy. I'm glad that we went, even though everyone did not set up cars like we did last year.

Lindsay stayed home while we were at Trunk or Treat to work on her school work. We stopped at Zoe's to pick up dinner and had a nice dinner upstairs in the loft. She stayed over so she could help us on Sunday! Sunday we had a later start and after breakfast, Andrew and I went over to the condo while Lindsay helped Zoe with her projects for school. Only on Sunday did I see that there was a light at the end of the tunnel!  We got so much done and stopped around 4:30 to go home, unload, and get ready for the week. We are going to put the final touches on after work today. I can't wait until this move is over, but then we have to focus on Andrew's move! Yikes! :)
