For our couples dinner, we wanted to stay local, so we decided to try Tratoria Tiramisu in Newtown. Our party of 10 was seated in the quaint Italian restaurant and looked over the menu. Tratoria Tiramisu is a BYOB, so a few couple brought some bottles of wine. In true Annie fashion, I had a Pepsi.
It took a very long time to get our bread and an even longer time to get our soup, salads and appetizers. I mean a loooong time- and when the soups and salads came, Andrew did not get his soup and Charles never got his salad, and the waitress never came back to even check if everything was ok. We ordered the Fried Calamari, Bruschetta and Melanzane Rolattini (rolled fried eggplant). The appetizers were very good! I loved the Calamari especially. When the entrees finally came, I was not really impressed, nothing wonderful or out of this world. I wish I would have ordered the Shrimp and Flounder Franchaise or the Mushroom Ravioli instead of the Chicken Portofino.

I definitely will only go back because I have a Spin Saver to use, but it will probably be just to get appetizers and dessert! In Newtown, my favorite will still have to be La Stalla.
After dinner we walked over to LaStalla for drinks and Bocce. It was a beautiful night and there was live music. We had so much fun!
