Time capsules

Sunday morning we picked up Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast. We went over to watch the kids while Tree and Jeff went to the hospital. We tried to venture out to the park around noon, but there was practically no shade, and it was super humid and hot outside.

After lunch, Jeffrey and Zoe decided they wanted to make a time capsule. They put pictures, baseball cards, a penny from this year, and so other stuff. We said that when they graduated high-school it would be fun to dig it up. It was a fun day, but I was so tired! I didn't get as much as I wanted to get done this weekend, but hey, what can you do?

Yesterday I packed the kids for their trip. I was also doing some house packing. I noticed that we missed a few spots on the deck with the primer so I hit those spots yesterday afternoon and also sanded some of the deck. There were some old paint spots from all the bad painting previously done, so we sanded them out and did a nice scrub on the deck. It looks so great!
