Storage Wars.

Andrew and I have been watching the show Storage Wars, and it's just such a fun show to watch. The bidders are real characters and funny things happen in every episode. If you have time, you should give it a watch.

The title of my post really isn't about the show, but my real life Storage War! If you don't already know, I love containers for storage. Plastic storage containers, wicker/sea-grass baskets, canvas baskets, cardboard boxes, you name them, I have them. For some odd reason, I bought in the last 2 weeks: 2 large storage bins, 4 smaller bins and 6 medium bins.

The 2 large Rubbermaid bins were a great deal, because they were 70 percent off, mixed in with the Christmas stuff! I was planning to consolidate the smaller Christmas decoration boxes, so these worked perfectly. The others are being used in the kids room to contain all the new toys they got from Christmas and also to reorganize their existing stuff.

I labeled the bins in their toy shelf with very specific labels, like: Backugan, Pokemon, Beyblades, Cards, Markers/Crayons, so that there is no excuse for the random things to be in there. Let's see how long it lasts! We were also able to donate a bunch of toys and clothes last week and have another truck coming tomorrow! It feels good to donate and get more organized at the same time.
