Please Touch!

After the BBQ Day was Philly Day! We headed into the city to go to the Please Touch Museum.

There were a lot of really great exhibits, and of course, you could touch everything! One of my favorite places was the Alice in Wonderland area, where you could dress up, be late for tea, paint the roses red (it even smelled like roses in there!) and walk through the garden maze. Here is Zoe as Alice! (Jaxie didn't want to be the mad hatter...)

But he did dress up as a mechanic so I could send the picture to Grandpa!

There were cool art pieces throughout the museum. The art piece of the Statue of Liberty's Torch was made of toys, sporting equipment, scrap metal and other things that you could find in the junk yard.

The kids loved picking up the balls and moving them around!

The kids also loved the water area with the boats and ducks (I did too!) and also the rocket launching station where they could build a foam rocket and launch them to see who goes the highest! It was a really fun day!
