Happy New Year! Happy Year of the Ox!

It was so nice to see Jake Sunday morning (and she even brought breakfast!) I know the kids love seeing her too. (especially when she brings food!) LMAO. I'm always so excited to show her all the progress made in the condo because she's seen it in all stages, from when the owners furiture was still there, to now. It is hard to believe looking around the place that we have only been there for a few months. It does looked "lived in!" I'm really happy with how everything looks. And I am excited for a house warming party!

It was too funny because we were up so early because my parents left super early. I called Jake at 7:20 and she was like, "What's wrong!?" LOL. Instead of going back to bed I decided to stay awake and got alot done, except around 2 I was totally sleepy... It was great to see Jake like always! <3

I miss my mommy and daddy already. They were only here for a day, but it was fun even though we did so much work. Anyone see the new Tinkerbell movie? This kids watched it and it was pretty good. I'm back to work. Ugh. So brutal. I could have used more sleep...

Happy Chinese New Year! It's my second chance this month to start over. Nice! I was reading some Chinese New Year Traditions:

DO’s & DON'Ts on NEW YEAR’s DAY:

- Greet others with "Gung Hey Fat Choy" which means "Wishing You Prosperity and Wealth".

- Give two lee see’s to each child. Because happiness comes in two’s, do not just give one. This is your way of passing good luck to the next generation. Business owners also give lee see’s to employees and associates.

- Wear brand new clothes - preferably in red. Children should wear new clothes and new shoes.

- Don’t wash your hair.

- Don’t sweep the floor.

- Don’t greet people who are in mourning.

- Don’t drop your chopsticks.

- Don’t say the number ‘four’ (Chinese homonym for death) or mention death.

- Don’t borrow or lend money.
