1: How have you been?
A: Great. I have been really busy with work and with the move, but overall I am doing pretty well. Most days I am pretty tired. I've been staying up too late.
2. How is everyone adjusting to the move?
A: I think well. The kids are lovin' their new room, the cats love to chase each other up and down the stairs, and Andrew is adjusting to me moving out of the building...Secretly, I think he misses me living downstairs...
3. Do you love your new home?
A:Um, YEAH!!!! I've watched so many of those shows like Property Virgins, and my first place on HGTV and see the people getting choked up when they close. It really is a great feeling. When you get those keys and own your own place, the feeling is just amazing. AMAZING!
4: We know you love electronics. Anything new and cool?
A: I hate electronics. (Laughs.) Just kidding. You know there is always something new and exciting. The coolest purchase probably would have to be the 24" iMac, but I think you guys already know about that. I have a new wireless router, a new 320 Gig external drive, and the shining star, a perfectly limited edition icy ice blue nintendo DS. Of course I pimped it out... Check it. Of course I'm always eyeing up some new gadgets. I just love electronics.
5: Truth or Dare?
A: What?! (Snickers.) Are you serious? Ok, Truth.
5: Tell us something embarrassing about yourself.
A: Wow, there are so many things to list here. Well, I found this wing place across the way from my new place and have been ordering buffalo wings almost every day since I found it. Wow, I can't believe I just admitted that. I've also become somewhat addicted to Hulu and Facebook. Is that 3 things? Do I get a prize?
6: No. You don't. Tell me about your work! Anything exciting going on?
A: Its no secret the economy sucks, and I can tell you now that absolutely everyone is feeling it at our company now. There have been a lot of layoffs, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have been working from home alot lately and today my boss asked me when I would be back in-house and I said,"I'll be in on Monday- well, wait.... are you going to fire me?" She said no, so I said I would be in Monday, LOL.... I also have a few freelance and pro bono projects I'm working on currently. My schedule is pretty much packed!
7: That's tough. Tell me about working from home.
A: It started out a perk at first, but I found that it was cool to work in my new home office. Also, I didn't have to wake up extra early to do my hair and makeup, and I'm able to drop off the kids at school instead of the before school care program. Also, with the crazy hours that I have keeping, it's more comfortable somehow.
8: Lastly, what would you do if the buffalo wing place around the corner closed?
A:I would cry. Then probably loose 20 pounds.
