The talented musician and old IT guy at my old job, Dennis Parrish, aka 'PC Dennis' wrote a song a while back called "The Dance." The guitar performance video can be found here and is also featured on his site. There is another video where there is actually a dancer too!

Anyhoo, this song was inspired by one of my paintings that Dennis had purchased at my show, also named 'the dance.' Dennis told me that he would be performing with his daughter and her band, 'The Krista Parrish Band.' They were playing at 'Puck Live' in Doylestown and told me that he would be able to perform his song. Andrew and I made our way to Doylestown, found some parking, and went to Puck. It was really great to see the song played in person. It got the best audience response too! We listened to music and munched on mini-hot dogs and chicken fingers. Dennis even asked me if I was in the audience before he explained about the song. I felt a bit of famous for 15 minutes. It was a fun and wonderful night, and I'm so glad we went. (I also have to thank Andrew for missing the giants/patriots game to come with me! xoxo)
