Roy Rogers and the IKEA in Elizabeth.

While on our way to the Elizabeth IKEA, we came across a Roy Rogers! A blast from the past for me. My family did a lot of traveling and would eat in rest stops all the time. Roy Rogers was a favorite! It was yummy.

We went to IKEA to get the new bunk beds for the kids. They didn't have the bed at our normal Consh. and Philly IKEA, so we had to trek to Elizabeth. Here's the bed...



It took forever to get the bed, and it was terribly crowded. The place was a hot mess. Andrew and I were putting the bed together last night until about 1:30 AM. (We got home around 10:30 or 11...We finished this morning and it looks great! I have to give much love and thanks to Andrew for going with me to IKEA, braving the crowds and the waiting and putting up with me while assembling the bed!

I opened the sheets and thought it came with a pillow, sheet and quilt cover. Wrong! I had to run to Bed, Bath & Beyond so that the kids would have sheets to sleep on tonight. Also, the quilt inserts were King size (they were labeled wrong in IKEA and I didn't double check) so I had to cut the quilt inserts. Then, I had to meet my parents at the store so that I could drive the kids home while they loaded the mattresses in their car. So over 500 bucks later, the kids have an awesome bunk bed set up. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday! I'll post pictures of the whole shebang when it is done... It will be great!
